Guided visits of the 'Ancien Monastère de Sainte-Croix' Botanical Garden
As well as a rich collection of plants, the garden offers an historic and medicinal interest. Come and discover the usage, traditions and legends attached to these plants and their medicinal properties used by the Order of Saint Antoine monks in the 12th century. Guided visits in French or English.
During your visit of the garden you will be introduced to medicinal, dye and edible plants.
Workshops on the theme of plants usage and transformation are offered throughout the season, on Wednesdays from 3 to 5 pm. Learn to make your own flower water, balm, or cordial or cook up a recipe with the so-called 'weeds' in the cool of our cellar.
At the end of the workshop, there will be a tasting of plants based products made with the plants of our gardens.
