About
Alpine prairies stopover at 1338 m of altitude, South of the Vercors mountain range, on the GR 93 alternative footpath and the GTV Trail, at the foot of Bellemotte and facing the mount Jocou. Stopover between Grimone and the Vercors High Plateau Nature Reserve. Perfect to unwind and hike (as well as mountain bike or snowshoeing)
A grandiose setting of mountain pastures and forests, steeped in the living silence of the mountains (torrents, chamois, marmots, grouse, golden eagles... and herds), the beauty of the alpine flora, the calm and wisdom of the shepherds.
Alpine gîte for 25 people. 2 dormitories sleeping 6 and 1 dormitory sleeping 13.
Self-catering from September 1 to June 30 by prior arrangement. In July and August (also by reservation), the refuge is looked after by volunteers from the association.
A small refuge (4-5 beds) adjoining the gîte is always open and available to hikers, as are the camping areas.
It is unavailable in June as it is reserved for the shepherd.
From 01/07 to 31/08 with janitor, meals, drinks, snacks, crêpes and snacks available.
Activity room for workshops (yoga, dance, clowning).
