Clairette de Die
Fruity, sugary, sweet, sparkling ... the tasting of the Clairette is a delight for your senses and your palate ... it is unavoidable ... and when you have tasted it, you will never forget it...

Clairette is of course the jewel of Diois and everyone is proud of it! But how is it made? An answer is given to the Cave de Die Jaillance with the staging entitled "The Legend of Jaillance."

More concretely, here are in a few lines the secret of this sparkling wine. Clairette de Die actually comes from two grapes varieties: Clairette and Muscat à petits grains (75% min.). After they have been pressed, the juice is cooled and filtered, then the half-fermented wort is bottled. Fermentation continues due to the sugar content of the grapes, giving a naturally sparkling wine without any added sugar.

This is THE wine for the desserts and it is in all parties in Diois.

But we do not make only Clairette...


Crémant de Die

This crémant, pleasant in aperitif or in cocktail, with some mint leaves and cognac is also pleasant with first courses, especially asparagus and smoked salmon.

AOC since 1993, Crémant de Die is a brut wine, produces since 2004 from Clairette grapes (minimum 55%), Aligoté (between 10 and 40%) and Muscat (5-10%) in the traditional method (but beware , do not say that it is a champagne ...). After pressing the grapes and the first fermenting of wort, we proceed to bottling, with the addition of liqueur de tirage (sugar & yeast) for a second fermentation. Then, after a long aging (up to 3 years!), we practice the disgorging (removal of the deposit), we add one liqueur d’expedition (wine & sugar) and Crémant is finally ready to accompany you throughout your meal.


Châtillon en Diois wines

Last AOC, among the highest in France (altitude): The Chatillon-en-Diois Red and Rosé (product in the village Châtillon, from grape variety: gamay, pinot noir and syrah) and Châtillon-en-Diois white (product in 13 municipalities, from grape variety: Aligoté and Chardonnay).

Cave de Die Jaillance (Wine making Cooperative)


Cave Jaillance produces AOC sparkling wines (Clairette de Die tradition and dry Crémant de Die) as well as AOC still wines (Châtillon-en-Diois).

Cave Lantheaume (winery)


Wine grower from father to son for 5 generations, Patrick Lantheaume has pursued his ancestors' know-how and quality traditional vinification methods. Concerned about the environment, he has been practicing sustainable agriculture for the past 10 years.

"La Manivelle" Die Craft Brewery


La Manivelle produces 12 varieties of beers, brewed at the foot of the Vercors in Die, the only ingredients being water, malts, hops, sugar, yeasts and time! Available in 75 cl bottles and 20 l barrels.

Cave Jérôme Cayol - Domaine de Maupas Winery
