Here
you will find seven rooms full of objects outlining the history
of Die and the Diois, with prehistoric, Roman and Medieval exhibits.
Opening times:
- July, August: 15.00-18.00 every day except Sundays and public
holidays.
- April, May, June, September and from the 1st to the 15th
October: 14.00-17.00, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- All year round for groups by reservation

The Silkworm Farm at Saillans  |

A guided tour of the Silkworm farm
shows each stage of the silkworm cycle. You can watch the silk threads
being unraveled from the cocoons.
There is a Mulberry orchard – the silkworms eat Mulberry leaves
– and a film on the history and uses of silk through the ages
and today.
Children should be at least 8 years old.
Open from May 1st to September 30th, from 10:00
to 19:00. The last visit of the day begins at 18:15.

The Caves Carod Clairette Museum at Vercheny

Come and see the pressing of the grapes and learn about how the
naturally sparkling wine of the region is made.
Guided visits are one hour and are free for
private individuals. You can also taste the wine free of charge.
Open every day from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 (except
week-ends and public holidays open at 9:30)

| The "Jardin de Papillons", (Butterfly Garden) of Die |
|

In the "Jardin de Papillons", or butterfly
garden, you will have a unique opportunity to see butterflies from
Africa, Asia and South America flying freely, as well as to learn
about hydroponic plant cultivation.
The Jardin de Papillon is 4 kilometers from the center of Die on
the left, on the road heading towards Gap.
Open every day of the week from May 1st to August
31st:
- May, June: 10:00-12:00, 14:00-17:00
- July, August: non-stop 10:00-18:00

| Heritage House and Walk |

|
Here
you will find exhibitions about the heritage of the area around
Lus la Croix Haute (the Lussois), local forest management and the
transport of wood, the use of natural ice, and the first people
of the Lussois.
There is a guided footpath from which you can discover some of the
local rural architecture.
July-August: open every day 10:00-12.00 and
16:00-19:00 (except Tuesday and Sunday afternoon).
